MCMC Education Committee Members

MCMC Education Committee is working for the community and offers programs designed to provide the Learning of Al-Qur’an, Tajweed, Qir’at, Pre-Hifz, Hifz, Islamic Education and Advanced Islamic Education to young children, youths and adults. All members of the education committee works as volunteers. The current members of the MCMC Education Committee consists of the following individuals:

Br. Jaweed Syed – Committee Lead.

He leads the committee and looks after all the day to day operations of the committee. He has been a member of the committee since 2010 and leading the education committee since 2015. He is also the current shura member of MCMC since Jan 2021.

He is the Program Manager of Darul Ihsaan (Sunday Islamic School), running and managing weekend Islamic school since 2016. He can be contacted at jsyed@mcmcnj.org or darulihsaan@mcmcnj.org or 732-309-7899.

Br. Daiyan Ahmed – Member.

He is a long time shura member of MCMC and volunteering for the Masjid and community from a very long time. He also served as MCMC Treasurer. He is also a member of education committee since 2017.

He is the Program Manager of Al Furqan, an after school Qur’an program for Pre-Hifz, Hifz, Qir’at and Tajweed. Br. Mohiuddin Syed – Member.

He is the Program Manager of IQRA (After school Al-Qur’an learning) program for young children ages 5 and above. He has been a member of the committee from last 6 years and looks after the day to day operations of IQRA program. Under his leadership and with all efforts of dedicated Qur’an teachers, many students completed learning Q’aidah and Qur’an and graduated. He can be contacted at iqra@mcmcnj.org  or  862-812-3870.

Br. Qaiser Iqbal – Member

He has been the member of the education committee since 2017. He is an ex-shura member and served in the shura for long time. He is the Program Manager for Advanced Islamic Education, a 2 year curriculum-based systematic program of imparting Islamic Education to our youth (Middle and High School). He has been successfully running this program and completed 4 batches and now program is starting a 5th batch. He can be contacted at  advancedislamiceducation@mcmcnj.org or 732-890-3880.

Br. Rizly Salih – Member.

He is the Program Manager of MAKTAB (After School) evening program that offers daily Qur’an learning and core Islamic subjects based on the “Tasheel series” curriculum. He has been a member of the committee from last 8 year successfully manage the Maktab program with increased enrollment. He manage and looks after the day to day operations of MAKTAB. MCMC Education committee also offers the following academic educational program.

  • Al Qalam, a one on one tutoring program for help in Academic education. The program is managed by Br. Daiyan Ahmed and it runs on week days after school. For more details on the program, please contact Br. Daiyan Ahmed at 848-565-5482.
  • SAT, a Industry-leading prep course scientifically designed by Dr. Kaisar Alam, who is a top SAT instructor and a teacher with 35+ years of teaching experience. It is a program design to offer classes and training for SAT / PSAT strategies, SAT courses, Weekend review, College Application Seminar and Essay workshop. Br. Jaweed Syed works in coordination with Br. Kaisar Alam to advertise and execute this program at MCMC. For more details please contact sat@mcmcnj.org.
