IQRA is for children and adults to learn Arabic reading of Quran with proper pronunciation and Tajweed. A child comes to the masjid for three days for one complete hour and gets one-to-one lesson from the teacher. One day a week on Thursday’s, children spend time on memorizing the last Juz (30th) of Quran, the daily Dua’s (prayers) and learn to read the correct Salat.
The MCMC is blessed have some of the best teachers and renown Qaris available to serve in the IQRA program.
Program Details:
Ages: 5 and Up
Monday - Wednesday (4:30 PM To 7:30 PM)
Thursday (4:30PM – 6:30PM)
Instructor: Qari Abdul Basit, Sh. Fouad El-Kassas and Maulana Yasir Iqbal
Monthly Tuition: 1st Child $30, 2nd and 3rd children $25 each
A child should stick to the timeslot assigned and must check with the administrator for any changes:
- Time slot1: 4:30PM - 5:30PM
- Time slot2: 5:30PM – 6:30PM
- Timeslot 3: 6:30PM – 7:30PM

Maktab (After School Islamic Studies Program)
Alhamdulillah, we are in the second year of Maktab at MCMC.
Maktab is a complete after school Islamic Studies program designed by Ta’limi Board of South Africa. Its focus is to develop well mannered Muslim kids with strong Imaan.
